Norman Rockwell brought Ed Locke and Massachusetts state trooper Richard Clemens to the Howard Johnson's restaurant in Pittsfield to be photographed for The Runaway. "Wherever you go, in state police agencies or law enforcement agencies, you'll find a picture of The Runaway hanging somewhere."
